Built by one person. On purpose.

I'm Alex, and DoubleMyMatches is a solo project. No investors, no growth team, no engagement metrics chasing me around. Just a tool I wish existed when I was on dating apps.

The whole thing started when a friend showed me his Hinge profile after complaining about zero matches for weeks. His lead photo was a group shot at a wedding — three guys, all in suits, and you couldn't tell which one he was until the third photo. We swapped it for a clear, well-lit portrait he already had in his camera roll. Nothing else changed. Same bio, same prompts, same person.

His matches tripled in a week.

That's the whole thesis. Most people don't need a photographer — they already have the right photo somewhere on their phone. They just don't know which one it is, or which order to put them in. That's what this tool does.

The honest bits:

  • The scoring runs on Google Gemini. I don't have a proprietary model.
  • Your photos are sent to Gemini, scored, and deleted. Never stored, never trained on, never seen by me.
  • The report you pay for is a text file. If it doesn't help, email me and I'll refund you within 14 days. No forms.
  • I make small money on this. Every $7 covers the AI credits and a bit of hosting. There is no marketing budget.

If you want to reach me, email hello@doublemymatches.app. I read everything.
